OVER THE RAIL HEIGHT, WITH LIFT EYE INVERTED 92"
HEATING UNIT: Each standard heating unit consists of
ten burners, positioned above the rail, capable of
producing a maximum heat output of approximately
1,800,000 B.T.U.'s per hour. The burners are fueled by
pressure injected #2 diesel oil and blower impelled
combustion air They fire into a rugged steel enclosure
that confines the heat around the rail.
The heating unit is electrically ignited and
hydraulically raised and lowered from the operator's
platform. Its total heat output can be easily reduced by
shutting off any number of individual burners and/or
reducing the fuel pressure.
DIESEL FUEL RESERVOIR: The burner fuel is carried
in a 300 gal. reservoir manufactured to ANSl/NFPA
specifications 385 and 386. A full reservoir will operate
a 10 burner unit at maximum output for approximately
18 hours. All pressuri?ed fuel lines are rigid or flexil)le
stainless steel tubing.
ENGINE: Air cooled, diesel fueled with a separate fuel
reservoir and 12 volt starter.
DRIVE SVSTEM: Hydrostatic drive with variable speed
controls.
RATE 01 TRAVEL: Work speed from 0-3 MPH and
permissable towing speeds up to 25 MPH are basic.
BRAKE SYSTEM: Dynamic braking through the
hydrostatic drive with a separate, hand operated, disc
parking brake is basic. |
